How To Tweet a Review of the New #Mogwai Album While You Stuck on a Long Trip
you're reading the utterly nonsensical tweets of my journey from KL to Kuala Terengganu to KL again with #Mogwai new album, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will sneak into my ear ( #fakta multiple eargasm )
with album opener 'White Noise' they're turning into Radiohead. It's easier if you fill it w/ your drama, like i did. (no, #fakta is White Noise bunyi macam Album Leaf dengan bunyi jahat bising distort lapis ke-limanya yang hanya hadir pada minit ke 3:27)
if i didnt give you any name, you almost call "Mexican Grand Prix" as another jab on indie hipster trash...but im starting to like it. #isitjustmebut A Place To Bury Strangers comes to mind.
it feels more stripped down yet melodic and fast w/ "San Pedro". You feel like you've heard this before but no. ( #fakta , this is another jab on indie hipster trash. Mereka masih 'jahat' pada minit ke 2:10)
...and still you like it. It was built upon unimaginable fuckin layers...
cuba fahami "Letters To The Metro" malam ni. This 'Hardcore' album gives me a hard time, susah nak cakap like it or not.
#fakta 'Metro' feels like, uhm... 'Thank You Space Expert'.
with 'george sq thatcher death party' they just cemented 'emselves as master of auto tune. Kalah BEP. (no, buddy... that's vocoder voice by Sir Barry Burns).
"Too Raging To Cheers" ni macam nama dia gak, u put too much effort on it, to an f word. I love the drums.
and i repeat, still you like it. It was built upon unimaginable fuckin layers...
they can write thousand songs like 'You're Lionel Ritchie'. An endless loop and the dramatic contrast for the climatic scene. Theyre master at it. (but they end up w/ an album that contained these majority feelings of "The Sun Smells Too Loud".)
...an appropriate title? Band Indie Hipster Trash Seberang Macam Nidji Will Die, But Thou Will Never
#fakta yours truly sedang kerap pasang Too Raging To Cheers but the whole album still a winzip for me
read my review too in the next issue of #ROTTW magazine.
thank you space expert for reading.
