Japanese singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba will make her debut performance in Kuala Lumpur, playing alongside local indie darling Liyana Fizi, with opening guest Straw Lim.
Ichiko Aoba has participated in major festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival in Japan as well as having recently completed a 15-city Japan Tour in support of her latest album ‘0’. Having performed alongside renowned Japanese musicians like Haruomi Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius), singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba has come a long way since her debut in 2010, at the age of 19. Blessed with an exceptionally tranquil, bright voice, she released her fourth album "0" last year, and is now preparing for her first Asia tour.
